RE Services, a Canteen franchise implemented an Executional Excellence Route Certification Program. In the big picture, it’s about being the best, setting the highest service standards in the industry, and working together to achieve them. For each of us, it’s the moment when our understanding of Canteen’s goals is perfectly aligned with our attention to quality and the actions we take to deliver superior service to our customers.

In partnership with industry leader, NAMA (National Automatic Merchandising Association) and NASCAR, Canteen now provides a route training and professional certification program for every route service associate. The focus of the Executional Excellence Route Service Certification is clear, learning to provide excellence at the point of service.

They participate in a 35-day professional certification process involving E-learning, classroom instruction, on the job training and testing. The topics covered are:
* Customer Service
* Category Minimum Standards
* Safe Food Handling
* Time Management
* Safe Work & Driving Practices
* Inventory, Sales, Cash Handling
* Presenting a Professional Image
* Marketing & Merchandising

In food service, we offer Serv Safe training for all leaders in this segment of the business. In class instruction, on the job training and testing make up the components of this program. Food handling, customer service, sanitation, and other related topics are parts of the curriculum.
