A couple cases in point, recently Vend Food Services worked very closely with Cagles Poultry in Perry, Georgia as they virtually rebuilt an old manufacturing plant into the latest state-of-the-art production facility. Their need was for Vend to plan, equip, staff and operate a food service operation for up to 2500 employees. Starting with just 2 local employees, Cagles now employees over 1400 and is still growing. Vend Food Services made a commitment to grow with Cagles, maintaining a consistent service level and remain profitable in operations. This has been accomplished and continues today. At Mar-Jac, a company in Gainesville, Georgia, three dedicated employees and numerous helpers struggled with providing a self-vending service to their employees, which resulted in a large payroll expense and lost productivity. Vend was able to generate a program that provided new equipment and a terrific food product that has resulted in a profit sharing of $25,000 annually to Mar-Jac.
